What is Build Your Story?

Build Your Story takes your child on a personalized reading adventure through each story. The child is woven into the storyline, and becomes the star character, along with his/her friends and family members. The story is read to the child by one of our professional staff on the CD, so they hear familiar names throughout the story. In addition, the child select characters that look most like them, their age, and the most appropriate reading level. The educational content is further reinforced through the use of an interactive review quiz, fun and engaging games and puzzles, and a coloring book with palette. Kids love our exciting and unique product! You can also print your own personalized story to your printer!

Who are the people behind Build Your Story?

Our mission is to provide the highest quality, animated personalized children's stories available. We opened for business in June 2003, after two years of active product development and educational research. Our goal was to write educational stories that would build self esteem within young children. We wanted the stories to be educational and entertaining, with a high degree of personalization and wonderful illustrations.

Matasha Allen, in Tennessee, a Language Arts and History college student wrote all 15 stories.

The illustrator, Antonio Crew, lives in Virginia and is well known for his children comic illustrations. Antonio spent over a year illustrating all of the detailed and colorful images within each story.

What type of computer do I need to run the CD story?

Microsoft Windows 95 or greater platform.

What age group does this apply?

Children 5 to 12

Will the child hear their name?

Unlike other personalized products, there is no name database, or a limited number of names to choose from. Each personalized story is read clearly and individually by one of professional staff members. This is true personalization!

We create and ship the personalized CD stories within 5 business days.
